A completely free evening of seven short digital stories set within the digital world, this fundraising production will give viewers the option to donate to local theatre organizations, including Theatre Bay Area’s Performing Artist Relief Fund, City Lights Theatre Company, Hillbarn Theatre Company, Los Altos Stage Company, and TheatreWorks Silicon Valley. This will be the eighth installment of The Bench Project, with previous productions having raised funds and resources for other local non-profit organizations such as The East Bay Children’s Book Project, Sacred Heart Community Service, Santa Cruz High School Music Programs and Second Harvest Food Bank.

The Homebound Project is a new independent theater initiative, focused on connecting sheltering artists and helping to feed children affected by the coronavirus pandemic in NYC and beyond. Founded by playwright Catya McMullen and director Jenna Worsham, The Homebound Project is theater made to support those working on the front lines of this crisis. Through an online theater platform, and as an all-volunteer artist team, their mission is two-fold: Raise funds for a nonprofit active in pandemic relief efforts and make great theater with currently homebound artists.
